HV POWER CAPACITORS

High-voltage (HV) power capacitors are high-capacity passive power elements used in electrical transmission and distribution systems for reactive power compensation, voltage regulation, and power factor improvement.

Enersolix HV capacitors ensure grid stability and improve overall system efficiency, thereby reducing energy costs.

Designed in accordance with the IEC 60871-1 standard, Enersolix HV capacitors are manufactured with high dielectric strength, self-healing technology, and are designed to operate for many years without failure.

Primary Uses:

  • Meeting the reactive power locally.

  • Mains voltage support and regulation

  • Transformer load reduction

  • Reducing transmission losses.

  • Improving the power factor

Technical Specifications (Example):

  • Voltage Level: 6.3kV – 36kV

  • Capacity Range: 50kVAr – 1000kVAr

  • Frequency: 50 / 60 Hz

  • Dielectric: Film / Propylene insulated

  • Connection: Single-phase / Three-phase (Y / Δ connection)

  • Protection: Internal pressure cut-off mechanism / discharge resistors

  • Standards: IEC 60871-1, IEC 60871-5, IEEE C37.99

Application Areas:

  • High voltage switchgear centers
